There are several options available to our patients. NHS/Denplan/Private treatment are all available. Some NHS patients are entitled to either full or partial exemption from charges. If you think you may qualify please ask a member of our team. (Pleae note if you are exempt from paying, proof of your exemption must be shown at each visit)
The National Health Service is a basic & inexpensive service which aims to keep you dentally and medically fit. Its structure & funding do not extend beyond the basic defined aim. Thus there are limitations to NHS care. Private dentistry has no such limitations and the dentist & patient are free to develop a treatment plan that is best for the individual patient & reflects their needs & pocket.
Independent Fee Scale:
- Routine examination (inc. necessary x-rays/oral cancer screening & advice) £26.00
- Scale & polish (inc.periodontal advice) £26.00
- Amalgam (silver) fillings from £32.00
- Composite (white) fillings from £32.00
- Root canal treatment from £144.00

- Crowns from £336.00
- Porcelain veneers from £336.00
- Tooth Whitening from £240.00
Please note practice members (denplan patients) are provided with a comprehensive programme of maintenance, prevention & treatment. For only £10.34 per month our plan includes:
- x2 free examinations annually
- 20% discount off any treatments
- x2 scale & polishes annually
- digital x-rays
- out of hours emergency treatment
- oral cancer screening
- fresh breath treatment
- dental insurance
- worldwide emergency cover
- free treatment if due to trauma
- periodontal advice
- techniques to prevent gum disease
Missed appointments:
If you miss your appointment or fail to give us the required 24 hours notice required to cancel, there will be a charge. The charges are as follows:
15 minute appointment = £15.00
30 minute appointment = £30.00
60 minute appointment = £60.00
Please try to keep your appointments or let us know if you are unable to attend and we will be happy to rearrange it for you, someone with a toothache will be happy to take your place!
Payment policy:
Practice policy is that each session of treatment should be paid for on the day it is completed.
